[기초영문법] 영어 문장 구조는 어떻게 이루어질까? 단어/구/절/문장 개념

안녕하세요? 수지쌤입니다.

오늘은 영어 문법 용어와 문장 구조를 알기 위한 내용으로 준비해보았어요.

영어 문장은 단어 하나로부터 출발해 "문장"이 됩니다.

이때, '구', '절'의 개념도 나오는데요.

 

 

중학교 친구들이 명사구, 동사구, 명사절, 부사절 등등의 의미를 잘 모르더라고요.

그래서 준비해보았습니다.

 

 

단어부터 문장까지
단어 word	한 단어
	(ex)  1. Apple 2. Bicycle 3. Courage 4. Dream 5. Elephant 6. Freedom 7. Guitar 8. Happiness 9. Island 10. Journey
구 phrase	단어 + 단어 => 하나의 기능 덩어리로 기능하는 것
	<명사구> 1. The big red balloon 2. A bouquet of flowers 3. The tall, ancient tree 4. A pile of books 5. The sound of music 6. An old wooden chair 7. The smell of fresh bread 8. A cup of hot coffee 9. The bright morning sun 10. A group of friends <동사구> Run quickly Take a nap Give up Look after Turn on <전치사구> On the table Under the bridge In the morning Between the buildings With a smile
절 clause	(주어) + 동사 ~
	(ex) 몇 개의 절이 있을까요? (You) Stop!    -> 절 1개 I went to school when I was 8. -> 절 2개 I will do what I want when I want.  -> 절 3개
문장 sentence	대문자로 시작하여 문장 부호(. / ? / !)로 끝나는 것
	(ex) 이 글에는 몇 개의 문장이 있을까요? (1) This is another great story that teaches a lesson that’s written for kids but adults can enjoy, too. (2) The story tells of a grasshopper who lounges around all summer while his friend the ant prepares for the winter. (3) When winter comes, the two friends end up in very different situations! 3문장!
